I'm very impressed with the book. It is written in a super comprehensible way with clear figures that illustrate the text. The target readers are PhD students and postdoctoral researchers - I'm about to recommend the book to my colleagues and that's my opinion. After each chapter there is a short summary. The two people (Julia and Simon) make the topic very close to the reader. Even if I'm not quite finished reading it yet: hot tip!

Loved since the very first word!
Just in the foreword it is already touching .. One of the titles says: "why this book?" Easy: it mirrors the truth without bringing the pity that we pass through and explicit the reality in numbers. So I can keep this book as a precious piece to my son, so he can learn from me and some others. What I read so far made me want more! And I can change: "I have no energy left to go" to a better version of myself.
